In a matrix set-up, conflicting priorities are common and I have seen teams struggling and relationships souring. What helps is to have the priorities agreed with the leadership so the teams are clear on what work is important and why. By providing direction and clarity, leaders can help team members execute their work without much tension. Secondly I have found that when team members are given a creative and safe space, they come up with options to resolve the conflicting priorities. Do not try to be the smartest in the room! Instead create an environment for talent to flourish and come up with options!

Siempre existen brechas entre la operación y las administración, factores como los tiempos de respuestas, la logística, la comunicación, las toma de decisiones, etc. construir un plan de desarrollo acorde a los objetivo a alcanzar, realizar seguimientos y encontrar eslabón cortado es de mucha ayuda para tener sinergia en cada departamento o gerencias de una empresa de construcción, manufacturera, financiara y otros. Capacidad, empatía, colocarse en el puesto del otro. Tener una visión desde arriba.
