I personally had this issue when working as Digital Lead for an European company with multiple nationality key stakeholders, basically most of them are senior and olders, they don't understand what is Digital Transformation, but they fake understand and lastly, they want to be the owner of the winner ideias, therefore, is really difficult to have a 121 free and open conversation. My personal tip, create a group with the same thinking and go to talk with them in group.
