The biggest challenge is balancing speed and accuracy while ensuring customer satisfaction.

In my experience empathy and humility are very valuable soft skills to be a successful driver manager. While we present ourselves as leaders, we must be humble enough to share vulnerabilities and express genuine empathy. In doing so we build trust with our team and the team is more willing to literally go the extra mile to service our customers. Our drivers' should always feel respected, valued and heard. Most drivers are no longer chasing the dollar as many have discovered that the grass is only greener over there because it's lined with "fertilizer".
