Usualmente uma ação nesse caso é revisitar a demanda / operação / volume e checar se a seleção de fornecedores de transporte continua adequada. É muito comum que tempos após a contratação inicial dos parceiros, a operação ganhe volume, complexidade e também tenha suas exigências aumentadas. Muitas vezes os parceiros que até então entregavam nível de serviço, acabam ficando obsoletos. Por isso, reavaliar o quadro de parceiros é uma ótima escolha.

Transportation issues in the supply chain can quickly lead to delays and customer dissatisfaction. In my experience, the key to avoiding such disruptions is continuous and transparent communication with service providers. It’s essential to keep a close eye on both operational hurdles and KPIs, such as pickup and tracking times, volumes, and forecasts, and to address them openly. This helps us find solutions faster and maintain service quality.

The best technologies and the best employees are no match for a major highway being wiped out for a variety of reasons. A blizzard can stop trains, planes and trucks and we can do little about it. Things we can manage are making sure we are staffed up, or partnered up, to handle our peaks. We can use our slow periods to make darn sure our fleet is 100% road ready when it is time to rock & roll. We can also not over commit operations, into volumes they simply can't handle. Outside of that keep close contact with your Customers and give them daily accurate updates.
