But for priorities it depends on where you are with the business because end of the day, it is the profit that can run the marketing. It is seeing and comparing the scenarios between long term and short term marketing that will get you closest to your business goals.

To put it clearly, Marketing Objectives are defined by Business Goals only. Its business goals that defines what strategic path & marketing objectives should be taken up. But just in case there is a difference, then we should clearly define marketing objectives in the order of (a) Which ones are creating a direct impact and, (b) Other ones with tertiary effect. Evaluate your marketing spends in terms of biggest impact creators and cost-benefit analysis - so that you can calculate the long term impact. Ideal would be to estimate direct impact of marketing spends on business goals. This way, strategy teams can pick-&-choose the most impactful activities. This will create a win-win between both ✨
