One of the responses that is missing is about having an asset based view of yourself. Often we struggle to see the skills and mindsets we've already developed that have supported us in developing previous skills. I find that telling yourself the story of how you've already built knowledge and grown can continue to encourage you to lean into those practice as well. Another suggestion is to consider whether the approach you are taking isn't the best one for you to use to learn this new skill. There are lots of ways that a person can acquire a new skill (e.g. reading, shadowing a person who has the skill, joining a collab group with the same goal.
