Core Values: Maintain foundational values, like Nike's commitment to innovation, while adapting messaging for new audiences. Audience Research: Understand preferences through surveys, similar to how Dove targets diverse beauty standards. Subtle Integration: Introduce new design elements gradually, as Coca-Cola did with its "New Coke" campaign. Storytelling: Use narratives that resonate emotionally, like Apple’s focus on creativity and individuality. Stakeholder Involvement: Engage employees and customers early, as seen in Starbucks’ community feedback initiatives.

If you're rebranding then you're kind of intentionally NOT staying true to your original brand. The idea of "appealing" to an audience sounds fake to me. If you are trying to tell people what you THINK they want to hear then you're probably failing at telling them what they actually want to hear and what you really want to say at the same time. Branding is so much easier if you are authentic to your vision. Solve your problem then share the solution. Don't try to imagine what someone needs. Way more risky... Thoughts?

I focus on adapting our brand’s voice and visuals while preserving its core identity and values. I start by researching the new audience to understand their preferences, needs, and cultural touchpoints. Then, I refine our messaging, tone, and design elements to resonate with this audience, making adjustments that align with their expectations but still reflect our brand’s authentic personality. Throughout, I maintain core brand values and keep loyal customers informed about the changes to ensure continuity.
