I'm never really raving against the clock.. I use Autodesk VRED. It gives me VR assets for free as a by product of my visualisation setup - which I can assess in VR seamlessly on a daily basis.

This little process helps me ideate and iterate on dozens of prototypes a day: - Create a quick mock in a VR "drawing tool" like Gravity Sketch - This way, I can think of UX while changing the spatial scene heavily, which is impossible to do with any existing prototyping tools - When I'm happy with the spatial layout, I demo a happy path to stakeholders and the team - The "best demo" is sent to developers for implementation Using this approach, I can iterate on impactful features the most and spend the developer's time efficiently at the same time.

I've been through this cycle many times. Here's what works for me: 1. Extensive Research & Planning • Analyze similar project cycles and tech stacks • Create preliminary proposals with sketches/recce shots/UX materials • Get client approval early • Allocate timing strategically 2. Testing Framework Setup • Establish testing criteria early • Focus on UI/UX feedback loops • Create measurable benchmarks 3. Sprint-Based Execution • Run multiple pre-MVP tests • Plan testing phases ahead • Identify and address unknowns early 4. Community Engagement • Stay connected with VR dev communities • Learn from others' experiences • Avoid common pitfalls • Gather insights for smoother execution Planning can help you avoid lot of pitfalls.

Test driven development via agile. That helps with the basics - you can also use test suites to do up testing. But - get it right first is better.
