VR needs to be interactive thus is more complex than just rendering a 3D animation. Software like 3DVista/SkyReal may simplify development. 2. Dependency to hardware, thus may complicate the rollout or affect its scalability. Cardboard + phone may be an easier option. 3. User-compatibility. 40%-70% people have VR-sickness, and headsets may be unfriendly to glass wearers. Consider having a screen-based version to have better inclusiveness.

But to temper expectations, I'd ask the client to help identify 3 comp projects. Then, I'd show them the budget, the timeline and the team numbers needed to achieve that kind of result. If the client can meet us with the resources, I'd always recommend striving for something as closest to what they want. If they cannot, then I'd show them projects within their budget range and timeline. I'd still empower them where I can. All projects, VR or not, can be made better with open communications and informed guidance.
