When I was working in L&T as the head of EHS for one of their verticals, I got the opportunity to establish an experiential learning center and to get involved in the development of VR-based training modules. Having conducted thousands of classroom based training man-days, I was pleasantly surprised by the impact VR-based training modules could create in among the participants. I guess this is the best part of using VR to enhance the effectiveness of training, in addition to all other stated benefits quoted by others.

Given the small size of many companies in the construction sector, I believe that making these types of tools available to small investors and professionals is a huge challenge. The solution that I believe is most feasible is the use of academies specializing in this type of training and for the administrations to help them validate this type of training with a higher-level certificate.

HAZARD IDENTIFICATION & RECOGNITION: VF can help in evaluation of possible hazards and risks along with the severity. The possible ways of prevention can also be highlighted. 3. EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING: VR can simulate real time scenarios like chemical spills , fires 🔥 which will allow trainees to see how they have to response.
