You don't have to be on ALL social media platforms at the same time! - Instead of focusing on quantity, focus on quality. It's the first step to establishing your brand and your voice. - What is your operational capacity? Being on a social media platform does not mean you can just repost the same thing and ghost. Building trust and community is essential. Example: LinkedIn. When you post, before your post goes live start engaging with your network by commenting and engaging in a conversation. Comment on posts on the people who are not in your network as well to expand your reach. You want to be on the platform the first hour in between before/after your post goes live. A similar approach for other platforms as well.

One thing I’ve found helpful is to approach consistency with a clear strategy, such as when we use Adobe and need to develop a new brand. We should first focus on building a strong foundation—like defining consistent colors, design elements, and tone—and then implement it systematically across all platforms. This ensures the brand stays recognizable while allowing room to adapt content for each audience.

Sugiero diseñar un manual de Marca. Aunque hoy trabajes solo, quizá en un tiempo contrates equipo, por ejemplo un community manager, con lo cual es importante que todo quede documentado: - Tu voz. - Tu tono. - Palabras asociadas que utilizás siempre. Incluso: - Estilo de diseño asociado a tu contenido generado. - Cómo responder a comentarios negativos. Si contás con colaboradores en algún momento, que ellos sean una extensión de tu marca siempre al momento de comunicar.

Identify the things you want to be known for and do the following, regardless of platform: 1. Tailor your profile to include the things you want to be known for. 2. Connect with people that care about those topics. 3. Comment on content about those topics, including the people who also care about the topics you want to be known for (your target audience) 4. Create content about the topics you want to be known for and encourage your audience to walk towards you.

Tailor your content to fit each platform’s format and audience while staying true to these core principles. Use centralized tools like content calendars and scheduling software to plan and coordinate messaging across channels, ensuring alignment. Regularly review and refine your posts to check for consistency, and train your team to represent the brand voice authentically in every interaction. This cohesive approach reinforces trust and recognition regardless of the platform.

Literally just create one long-form piece of content (email, newsletter, blog, YouTube script, or podcast) and break that up into smaller chunks on all platforms. Do the work once, post it everywhere. Also, you don't need to be on every platform. Start with one long-form and one short-form (IG, LI, Facebook), etc. Also, do not hire seperate people for each platform.
