Staying ahead in UED requires a blend of curiosity, strategy, and action. As a VP of Product and UX, I prioritize continuous learning through trend monitoring, hands-on experimentation, and team collaboration. For example, when AI-powered design tools gained traction, I initiated workshops to test Figma plugins with generative AI, fostering cross-functional discussions on implementation. Keeping up isn’t just about knowing—it’s about creating space to experiment and iteratively adapt. The key? Build a culture where curiosity meets execution, ensuring your team evolves with, not behind, the trends.

Humans are not that FAST. Look UED is there to make products that Humans love. There would always be new trends always be new features. But one thing that wouldn't change HUMANS... ...We are always designing for Humans. Learn to have a better understanding of human nature. You can always use forums to read up on trends but human nature NO. For that you ask and observe. For example like YouTube does ask simple questions sometimes when you play a video. Keep asking and observing what people like and what they don't. That's how you stay on top of these trends.
