Keep in mind you are managing product/ project not an engineering team - Communication must follow PDCA/KPIs - I don’t agree communication includes micromanage team - instead unblock the roadblocks for the team to be efficient. Checking everyday is not efficient instead enable direction everyday is efficient - remote team must be trained to work effectively. Work on training and tool requirements for team - example - Microsoft’s Teams has some good tools like planner and loop that enable team to collaborate and communicate efficiently and different time zones - set weekly target and focus and achieve. - set achievable target and communicate. - quick meeting - involve responsible only. - group chat - specific topic/specify members
