1.Gather immediate feedback on content understanding and engagement. Monitor chat activity to identify questions, concerns, and areas of confusion. 2.Distribute surveys to participants to assess their satisfaction with the training, content delivery, and interactive methods. Encourage participants to share their thoughts and suggestions for improvement. 3.Monitor whether participants apply the learned skills and knowledge in their work. Ask managers to provide feedback on changes in employee behavior and performance. 4.Track attendance rates and participation levels in activities. Monitor how many participants keep their cameras on, as this can indicate engagement.

In a remote session we have to watch for signs they’re involved like asking questions, answering polls & chatting. We should use quizzes to check understanding and ask for feedback to keep things on track. Learning is more effective when it’s active. If they’re engaged and interacting it’s a good sign for us that the training’s working.

To gauge the effectiveness of your interactive methods: 1. Real time engagement: Monitor how responsive are the participants to the conversations, chat, polls, activities, are cameras switched on, are they actively asking questions, & they contributing to the discussions 2. Feedback mechanisms: Ask check-in questions periodically to assess if the participants are comfortable or if course correction required. I also like to tools like Mentimeter, Zoom Poll, chat questions to get a quick feel of the participants' experience so far. 3. Knowledge Retention: Before I start a new section I like to do a quick knowledge check. These could be quizzes, polls, Kahoot!, questions, activities or even ask some participants to briefly teach back.
