Something I find helpful, is recapping on my more recent experiences. If I expect to be a credible tbrought leader, I need a sound combination of thorough knowledge and real-world experience. Being overly academic about a topic I have not truly lived, I would eventually run out of tarmac and be caught out. Drawing on real experience, both successes and some more painful learnings, one has an inexhaustable supply to draw from. If you feel your ideas are drying up, dig deeper into what you have done and if you have really run out of ideas, it mighy be time to pause your thought leadership role until you do have something meaningful to share again.

Break the task into smaller steps, such as brainstorming ideas, outlining key points, or free-writing without judgment. Draw inspiration from industry trends, audience questions, or challenges you’ve faced. Change your environment or routine to stimulate creativity. If stuck, take a short break to recharge your mind. Collaborate with peers or use AI tools to spark ideas. Focus on progress over perfection, allowing room for refinement later. Remember, consistency thrives on discipline, not just inspiration.
