I have seen training programs failing majorly due to 1. Lack of content 2. Facilitator's failing to deliver content effectively Understand learning gaps on ground - Your team could be struggling on business outcomes because they are missing some skills or knowledge. Identify it Curate Content that connects - Don't make the mistake of 'one size fits all'. Make the connect closer to your audience. Define your purpose ( learning objective)clearly Use Multiple learning experiences - Your audience may be a mix of Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic. Use audio visuals, role plays, case studies , break out rooms wisely Do a pre and post training evaluation. Let your cohort apply the learnings. Get supervisor feedback in 90 days. Link to PMS

I usually treat feedback as feed forwards. Understand the feedback, review the training content, update content where necessary. Inputs from experts could be sought to review and refine. Test the revised materials and regularly review and update materials to ensure they stay inclusive as societal norms evolve.

Focus on 3 things: 1) Readability. Make sure that font type and size, negative space between characters and lines, colour contrast and luminance, closed captions for videos and captions for images are appropriate. 2) Representation. Make sure the materials don't exclude or misrepresent any identity and social group. 3) Target audience. Make sure you really planned your materials with a leave-no-one-behind approach.
