If an influencer misses a crucial event, I focus on swift, transparent recovery to regain client trust. First, I immediately communicate with the client, taking responsibility and explaining the situation. I propose solutions, such as rescheduling content or offering extra deliverables to make up for the loss. Next, I collaborate closely with the influencer to ensure they’re prepared for future commitments. Finally, I update the client regularly, showing them our proactive approach and dedication to results. This openness and accountability help rebuild confidence and maintain a strong client relationship.

Nobody likes a missed opportunity especially if they are paying for it. Now, the key here is not that we've missed a crucial event but what are we doing about it? Have we already started working on a much better opportunity already? You might think to discuss this with the client first and take further action accordingly but clients always appreciate a team who has a plan because then you have a conversation (open ended) rather than a confession (close ended). Clients will understand that you're a human after all but what they will not understand is why you are not doing anything about it? Value their time and accept your shortcomings will be your two friends that you make that day.

4. Offrant un geste commercial si nécessaire. 5. Communiquant proactivement sur vos actions correctives.

Regaining client trust after an influencer misses a crucial event requires quick action and transparency. Start by owning the mistake and updating your client on what happened without deflecting responsibility. Propose a proactive solution, such as rescheduling the event, creating exclusive content, or leveraging another influencer to make up for the missed opportunity. Show your commitment by tightening processes, like improved communication and backup plans, to prevent future mishaps. Keep the client informed every step of the way and focus on delivering results that go above and beyond to rebuild confidence.

Own the mistake immediately: Transparent communication is non-negotiable. Address the issue head-on with clients, focusing on solutions, not excuses. Provide more than a fix: Offer value beyond the original scope: exclusive content, bonus activations, or enhanced deliverables can turn setbacks into opportunities. Mitigate future risks: Strengthen your influencer contracts with clear expectations, backup plans, and penalties for no-shows. Implement tighter vetting and monitoring to catch potential red flags early. Every crisis can be an opportunity if managed well.
