What do you do if your IT team needs to enhance user experience through creativity?

If your IT team wants to make things more fun and easy for users, try a "UX Hackathon." Bring together creative people to brainstorm and solve problems in a short time. Provide snacks and make it a fun event. Then, pick the best ideas and put them into action. It's a quick way to make big improvements!

Start with understanding. How might a user create working knowledge to use your product? What's provided to them for creating that knowledge? A good place to start is to document each task a user takes within a Journey Map. Include the friction and fallout points. Collect direct user feedback per step / friction, or start from assumptions based on benchmarking and best practise research. This Journey Map can help inform the specific areas your product's UX could use improvement.

It is important to accompany and anticipate the user experience at every step of the user’s interaction with the product. Therefore, do not be afraid to spend significant time on research, such as surveys, interviews, and so on. This will be much more beneficial in the long run.

To improve UX did two things, conduct a survey to identify the pain points from users point of view and had IT team outings to discuss what the team things about the users paint points and new ideas that could improve the UX. We used Microsoft List, PowerApps and Power Automation to enhance UX.

Best way to enhance user experience through creativity is first we need to listen to the actual users. Our application may support Laptop Web Browser, Mobile phone browser or it may support as a standalone application. For all type of mode we need to really understand whether the User is comfortable using it and easily accessible all features

It is important not only to put yourself in the shoes of another, but also to be in the context in which the user is located. If you are designing a sign with a menu for a cafe, understand how tall the users are, from which side they approach the sign, what they see first, how they interact with the menu as with a product. Diving deeper into the details and context will make your solution actually work, not just look attractive.

It is always put ourself into the others shoes and do the end to end exercise of the key requirements set by their expectations. From our standpoint we covered all happy paths. If we approach from user perspective there can be a room of changing requirements itself. Collecting user view is key to deliver quality product with positive user experience

When prioritizing ideas, it is important to always maintain a balance between what the user or team wants and what the user pays for. You must always be flexible, ready for any changes, but at the same time maintain a clear understanding of the final goal. But also always remember the value. That is, what exactly the user pays for. After all, the product is used as long as someone needs it.

The best second opportunity to improve the quality is to implement the constructive feedback point and implementing it so that the product will perform with user expectations and less room for further improvements

Don't be upset when users or simply other team members don't understand your idea the first time. This is just a reason to look at everything from a different angle and try again. Indeed, in fact, prototyping together with user research opens up incredible opportunities for the quick and correct development of a working and truly needed product.

The working prototype version is always the key important aspect of enhancing user experience. This minimum viable product will give the further steps of improvement towards the product new release

Testing hypotheses is the main driving force behind product creation. But it is important to approach this correctly - check one metric at a time, record all the results obtained, and draw conclusions at each step of this endlessly repeating cycle. The latter is especially important so that in a month or six months you do not check the same thing, but from a different angle.

Need to do Unit Testing and System Integration Testing for every implementation added to the product. Testing is the only proof of showing the idea is converted to a product. 80% of the product success is determined by the testing and iterating with the improvements

It is necessary to always be at the peak of progress, maybe even pioneers in some area. To try new things before others, and have time to get the maximum benefit from it. Otherwise, you will always have to be catching up, and only look at the backs of others, again and again trying to at least partially repeat their success. Therefore, it is better to always develop, not be afraid to look for and try new and non-standard solutions in order to be ahead.

In the journey of enhancing user experience, don't overlook the importance of accessibility. Ensuring your digital product is accessible to all, including those with disabilities, can significantly broaden your user base and improve overall user satisfaction. For instance, incorporating features like text-to-speech for visually impaired users or ensuring your website is navigable via keyboard for those with motor disabilities can make a world of difference. Accessibility isn't just a nice-to-have, it's a must-have in today's digital age.

Products do not exist in a vacuum, but depend on many factors that must be constantly taken into account. Therefore, for the most effective not only existence, but also development, balance is always important in everything. In product metrics, in capabilities and limitations, in the speed, quality and quantity of changes, in interaction both within the team and with external stakeholders. But in the end, all that matters is that the product is used. After all, like any thing, a product lives only as long as it is used.
