Learning styles do not necessarily improve learning outcomes. In fact, it might inadvertently limit the scope of our teaching methods and the learners' experience. It might be more beneficial to focus on evidence-based teaching strategies that cater to a diverse range of learners. This could include multimodal teaching that integrates various methods (visual, auditory, textual etc.) not to cater to specific learning styles, but to enrich the learning experience for all. Additionally, emphasizing universal design for learning (UDL) principles could offer a more inclusive and effective framework.

I think the less is more is really key for presentation materials . Focus on minimal info on screen and have the spoken words enhance it. Focus on dual coding to make material stick

Mock presentation helps the presenter to gain confidence before the actual workshop. It can be done in front of collegues who can give valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement. This will improve the quality of the presentation during the workshop and helps in achieving the desired goal. Another advantage of mock presentation is to make sure all the technical requirements for avoiding issues during the session.
