No, you can't always keep everyone motivated and connected. This question is almost stupid and wildly unrealistic. Remember employees/workers are paid for a purpose, and that purpose it to provide value and output for a company. Morale is moderately important but not the only and important metric. Allot of the politically correct term of being "connected" is in reality laziness or apathy and or staying informed and making a credible contribution(s). Unless you have a truly remote locations like swamps and empty deserts with zero internet, there are other underlining issues in a company.
