Snazzy Exeter restaurant launches exciting range of lush vegan dishes

Exeter cocktail bar The Botanist has launched its new Spring/Summer menu, with a third of the dishes vegan. The leafy bar – located in the Guildhall Shopping Center – has unveiled its seasonal menu featuring new dishes alongside classics like its famous hanging skewers and salt and pepper chicken wings.

The new menu sees The Botanist’s beloved burgers get a seasonal update as well as the plant-based burger which is now topped with vegan cheese, chilli jam, crispy oyster mushrooms and truffle and lemon mayonnaise. the mustard. What types of dishes are offered as part of their new menu?

Carefully crafted by in-house chefs and lovingly created from scratch, diners can enjoy reimagined classics including a ribeye steak served with truffle bearnaise sauce and a heritage tomato and mozzarella salad with plums. grilled meats, olives and bruschetta or sample flavors from around the world with a fragrant Thai curry topped with pork belly, tiger prawns and rice noodles, a spokesperson said.

Botanist’s beloved burgers get a seasonal update… Wrap a crispy chicken burger stacked in Buffalo dipping sauce or opt for the new and improved Botanist cheeseburger, with pulled beef, maple bacon, onions crisps and truffle mayonnaise.

The restaurant’s hot board now includes tater tot poutine, lamb koftas, Cumberland Scotch egg, whole garlic prawns and baked camembert with prosciutto – your taste buds will thank you later!

At The Botanist, everyone can enjoy a wonderful occasion – the crispy batter on their fish and chips, calamari and cauliflower wings are made from gluten-free ingredients.

Vegan diners can also choose from a growing menu of options, with over 30% of the dishes suitable, including the super-green hummus served with sun-dried tomato oil and Romana flatbread and the vegan hot plate with bang bang cauliflower, gnocchi with crispy porcini mushrooms and celeriac, cashew nut and mushroom pie.

Greedy? If you love The Botanist’s signature cookie dough, which is now topped with Sparkling Mint Aero, you’ll love the new Chocolate Brownie Fudge. Other new desserts include Lemon Tart with Raspberry Sorbet and Crushed Honeycomb, and Mango Strawberry Cheesecake with Passion Fruit Sorbet and Coconut Sugar.
