I have just looked in my ‘Sent’ box and there are a bunch of ‘unsubscribe’ emails (in the format Apple sends when you click the unsubscribe button at the top of an email) except I never chose to send them! Some of them appear to be unsubscribing to spam? I’m not sure how this happened. Does this mean I have a virus?

You probably don't have a virus. You should change the password to the email account.
