The first time I used GroupMe was during an online course when a classmate added me to a group for collaboration. It turned out to be a fantastic tool for teamwork, especially in courses where the professor is mostly absent. This app made it easy for us to share resources, ask questions, and support each other throughout the course. The interface is simple to navigate, and the ability to have instant group discussions or private chats was incredibly useful. This app is a great option 4 this!

It works good for the most part, however there are currently two issues I have with the app that aren't deal-breakers necessarily, but do keep me from giving this app five stars. 1. I wish you could schedule when messages are sent like on Google Messages. 2. I also wish when you took a picture with the included camera button, it would let you include written text for you to type before you send the picture. Other than that, as a messaging app goes, its good.

1. The notifications haven't been fixed in two yeara. Tapping on it doesn't take you to the thread, but whatever group was last open. You have to manually go to the topic. 2. No notification customization for topics. It just picks whatever it wants. It doesn't even follow the parent group. 3. YouTube links just stopped working this year and it errors out. 4. They just "added" an edit message feature which was in the app for years then it disappeared this year and has now shown up again.
