Check that Gmail has notification permissions turned on

To receive incoming call notifications on the web, you must open Meet in a tab in one of these supported browsers:

• Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Edge
• Apple Safari

Check that Meet has notification permissions turned on

• In Chrome:
  1. On your computer, open Google Chrome.
  2. Go to Google Meet.
  3. At the top, on the left of the URL, click View site information .
  4. Turn on Notifications.
• In Firefox:
  • To enable notifications if the initial request isn’t accepted, learn more about upgraded notifications.
• In Safari:
  1. On your computer, open Safari.
  2. On the homepage, click Menu Settings.
  3. In the “Websites” tab, select Notifications.
  4. Find meet.google.com.
  5. Select Allow.
