Fat cats are cute. They're like living Garfield cartoons and fill our lives will endless joy and happiness. If only the sentiment were the same when it came to our own overweight bodies.
An overweight, or chonky, cat is truly a thing of beauty. Sure, he's probably over eating and not exercising, but we sort of like to have the rats running around the backyard anyways! We don't need our precious indoor kitty worrying about dirtying his paws and taking a miraculous step down into the yard. How would he fend for himself with all that girth? Sit on the mice? Probably.
Welp, he can jump plomp his pluffy tooshie right here on my lap and watch another true crime documentary. Maybe he'll get more hand fed tuna or wild caught salmon to give him a nice shiny coat too! Might as well since he's best known for pets and cuddles.
