Lance Bass is looking back at how his coming out affected his professional career at the time.
While joining the Politickin podcast, the former Nsync member, who publicly came out as gay in 2006, said that, at that time, he was about to film a pilot for the CW. However, things took a turn when he came out.
“I had a sitcom with The CW at the time, and we were about to shoot the pilot and this came out and they were like, ‘We can’t do the show anymore. Like, they have to believe that you’re straight to play a straight character,'” Bass said.
He added, “Every casting director I knew, they’re like, ‘Lance, we can’t cast you because they can’t look past … You’re too famous for being gay now that they can’t look at you as anything other than that.’ So,...

Best Song Written for Visual Media is especially interesting to predict at the Grammys since you can also take into account the Emmys, Oscars, and other visual media prizes. But this year’s five nominees are mostly what you expect from a category like this, with Grammy-loved artists and big hits making up the lineup.
You can probably rule out a couple of songs. Barbra Streisand’s “Love Will Survive” was an unexpected nominee, and while it features songwriting from legendary composer Hans Zimmer, songs from TV programs rarely win here, and it doesn’t help that “The Tattooist of Auschwitz” had limited buzz. Next, “Better Place” from “Trolls Band Together” was a decent-sized hit overall, peaking at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Plus, the nostalgia around Nsync’s reunion could leave many wanting to reward them. However, “Trolls” and the song peaked long ago, and voters might decide this...

John Cena and Eric André are ready to test their bond in a new Netflix comedy film.
The streaming giant is in early development on Little Brother, which has the two stars attached. The writing team of Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel (The D Train) penned the script for the movie that counts David Bernad and Ruben Fleischer as producers. A director has not yet been announced, nor has a planned release date.
Little Brother centers on a well-known real estate agent whose meticulously planned life is shaken up when his quirky “little brother” suddenly resurfaces.
The project follows Netflix’s new partnership with the WWE that officially begins next month. Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria first teased Little Brother during a press event at the company’s offices on Tuesday.

When it came time to choose a name for our first child, my husband and I had a list of one.
A couple of years before her birth, we’d been on an especially good date to see an Agnès Varda film in repertory; the protagonist’s style, wit and ultimate resilience appealed to us as much as Varda’s own story as a pathbreaking woman in the French New Wave did. We’d seen Varda’s documentary “Faces Places” at New York’s Quad Cinema just a week prior to seeing “Cléo From 5 to 7” at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn, and, especially in the spring of 2020, the double bill sat lodged in our minds. Cleo D’Addario turned 4 this past May.

Netflix customers will be able to add even more Universal movies to their queue with the studio’s live-action titles coming to the streamer in the U.S. starting with the 2027 slate.
Netflix and NBCUniversal’s Universal Filmed Entertainment Group announced a deal to renew their existing licensing deal for animated films from Illumination and DreamWorks Animation. Now, beginning with the 2027 slate, Netflix will have U.S. rights to live-action films from both Universal Pictures and Focus Features “no later than eight months” following their theatrical release.
After the Universal films’ initial premiere on NBCU’s Peacock, Netflix will have a 10-month window during which these films are available only on Netflix — before they return to Peacock. Netflix will also license rights to Universal’s full animation and live-action film slate for additional windows in subsequent years as well as rights to select titles from Universal’s film library, the companies said.

Peacock has announced that Universal’s summer hit Twisters will debut on the streaming service on November 15, 2024. Twisters is rated PG-13 for intense action and peril, some language and injury images.
Peacock’s exclusive streaming debut comes on the heels of a successful theatrical run for the film. The movie grossed $370.9 million worldwide, with $267.7 million coming from North American theaters and $103.2 million from international markets.
Twisters brings back the blockbuster disaster epic with a whirlwind of heart-stopping action and exhilarating thrills. Ever since a devastating tornado encounter, Kate (Daisy Edgar-Jones) gave up chasing storms across the Oklahoma prairie to safely study them on screens in New York City.
Lured back to the field by her friend Javi (Anthony Ramos) and a once-in-a-lifetime scientific opportunity, Kate crosses paths with Tyler (Glen Powell), a charming daredevil and self-proclaimed tornado wrangler whose thirst for tornado-tracking adventures made him a social media sensation.

The first season of A24 and Prime Video's smash-hit animated series "Hazbin Hotel" ended on February 2, 2024, and while the creative team is hard at work on season 2, the show's popularity hasn't decreased. "Hazbin Hotel" earned the largest global debut viewership for a new animated title on Prime Video, surpassing other hot commodities like "Invincible" and "The Boys Presents: Diabolical." The series doesn't boast the same recognizable IP as its contemporaries, but that hasn't stopped it from becoming a phenomenon. In the months since the season's end, convention circuits have shown that "Hazbin Hotel" has become one of the most popular shows for cosplayers to emulate, fanart floods social media feeds on the daily, but thanks to the death of the monoculture, the popularity often feels like it exists in a vacuum.
I've previously described "Hazbin Hotel" as adult animation, but too edgy for the constraints of something like "The Simpsons.

The overseas running cume now stands at $113.7M and the worldwide total is currently $165.3M through Sunday. The outlook offshore is about a $150M final.

It’s no surprise that Justin Baldoni’s “It Ends with Us” (Sony) with Blake Lively is an immediate #1 for its PVOD release 46 days after its very successful theatrical run. It replaced Zoë Kravitz’s “Blink Twice” (Amazon MGM) as #1. The psychological thriller is #2 this week at both iTunes (ranking by transactions) and Fandango (by revenue), with both films renting for 48 hours for $19.99.
The VOD charts remained otherwise mainly steady, with Netflix’s top 10 seeing large-scale changes and some signficant original additions. In this weekend’s box office preview, I was pretty conservative in my guesses as far as what the weekend grosses will be for the two big new releases, The Wild Robot and Megalopolis. I actually figured The Wild Robot would only open in the teens and be beaten by Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, but it seems my estimates might have been off as Deadline is reporting that the animated movie made a decent $1.95 million yesterday. That’s not a massive number, but it’s in line with what other animated movies like Trolls Band Together and The Bad Guys made, which suggests The Wild Robot should have no trouble opening in the $20-25 million range. Last week, Transformers One made about $3 million in previews on its way to a $24 million opening, but many believe the preview night number was front-loaded due to older fans.

DreamWorks Animation/Universal’s The Wild Robot grossed $1.95M yesterday from showtimes that began at 2Pm in 3,000 theaters.
The Lupita Nyong’o voiced movie is expected to lead the box office with a $20M+ take, and that preview take indicates that given previous Dwa comps, read it’s higher than Trolls Band Together ($1.3M) which resulted in a $9.3M opening day and $30M opening, and it’s above The Bad Guys which did $1.15M in previews, a $7.98M opening day and a $23.9M opening.
Out of the gate, great PostTrak for The Wild Robot with 5 stars from general audiences, 4 1/2 stars from parents and five stars from kids under 12. General audiences numbered 72%, parents repped 18% and kids 10% last night. More men with the general audience at 53%, while moms outnumbered dads, 58% to 42%; and kids under 12 were mostly girls at 53% as expected. The Wild Robot is based on Peter Brown’s award-winning, #1 New York Times bestseller.

The second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power opened to big viewing numbers in the United States — just not as big as its first season.
The Prime Video series amassed 1.02 billion minutes of viewing in the United States for the week of Aug. 26-Sept. 1, good for first place among original series and second among all titles in Nielsen’s streaming rankings. Season two premiered on Aug. 29 with three episodes, and Nielsen says about 70 percent of the show’s weekly total was for those three, with the remainder devoted to season one. (Viewing totals on the ratings service’s charts cover all episodes of a series.)
The 1.02 billion minutes is down about 19 percent from season one’s opening week (1.25 billion) in August 2022. The Rings of Power ranks third among Prime Video series U.S. opening weeks this year behind Fallout (2.9 billion minutes) and The Boys (1.19 billion...

“Blink Twice” (Amazon MGM), actress Zoë Kravitz’s feature directorial debut with Channing Tatum as a tech billionaire who invites a cocktail waitress to his private island, was a modest performer in theaters last month. Its opening weekend only reached #4 at the box office, earning $7 million, with the full run amounting to $22 million.
Flash forward a few weeks, and it is #1 for its debut week in PVOD. It jumped to the top even as three other new releases (all weaker performers) also made at least one of the two top 10 lists below.
Netflix continues to find appeal for its recent originals, with four films in its top five. These though were trumped by “The Garfield Movie,” the latest Sony release to transition to the streamer four months after release. Azazel Jacobs’ “His Three Daughters” (premiering at Toronto Film Festival last year and garnering an excellent 84 Metacritic score) is top among...

Paramount and Hasbro Entertainment’s Transformers One is shifting into high gear at the box office with $3.3M in Thursday preview screenings. The “More Than Meets the Eye” premiere began on Wednesday, with fan screenings at 7 pm and Thursday previews starting at 5 pm. The first Transformers animated film in nearly 40 years is performing better than other family-oriented films this year, including Paramount’s If ($1.75M), The Garfield Movie ($2.3M), and Trolls Band Together. Transformers One even drove past Travis Knight’s live-action Bumblebee film, which bowed to $2.15M.
With Transformers One rolling out to 3,978 domestic theaters, including IMAX and Plf screens, the animated origin story could burn enough rubber to reach $34M over its opening weekend. According to analysts, if positive word of mouth spreads and parents want to beat what remains of the heat in some areas, Transformers One could collect $40M or more. It’s worth noting that...

AMC made a bet earlier this year that licensing a number of its shows to Netflix would help them find more viewers. That bet appears to have paid off.
Two AMC shows, Dark Winds and A Discovery of Witches, are among the top 10 streaming titles for the week of Aug. 19-25. They were added to Netflix at the beginning of that week as part of a deal struck in July to place about a dozen AMC shows on the service, complete with branding as the “AMC Collection.” (The shows will be available for 12 months.)
It’s not new territory for AMC, which partially credited Netflix for a huge spike in ratings for Breaking Bad’s final season and has also licensed The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul, among others, to the streamer in the past.
Dark Winds drew 929 million minutes of viewing for the week, good for fourth place overall.

Paramount Animation and Hasbro Entertainment’s Transformers One, the first animated Transformers movie in close to 40 years, looks to liven up the mid-September box office with a domestic start in the low-$30Ms with potential for upside.
Transformers One will keep the domestic box office at its excellent clip. Through the last weekend of April, the domestic B.O. stood at $2.07 billion, 20% behind 2023. Since then, through last weekend, the domestic box office has made an additional $4 billion for a running Ytd cume of $6.08 billion, now 12% behind last year.
Advance ticket sales are solid from Thursday through Saturday, ahead of last year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem ($28M 3-day) and Trolls Band Together ($30M).
Josh Cooley directed what has been described for months as one of Paramount’s highest-testing animated movies. The $75M production tells the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, who were buddies before becoming sworn enemies.

Huge news, fellow "Shark Tale" fans: It's finally our time to shine. The animated 2004 movie starring Will Smith and Robert De Niro recently made the leap to Netflix, and according to streaming data numbers site Flix Patrol, it's currently topping the charts. Specifically, as of this writing, it's number one on the kids' movies viewership chart and number five on the overall movies viewership chart, having beat out more recent family-friendly hits like "Sonic the Hedgehog," "The Super Mario Bros. Movie," and "Trolls Band Together" on both lists.
On Netflix's own Top 10 site, "Shark Tale" sits in the number 7 position on the top movies list, mostly bested in viewership numbers by new Netflix original movies like Jeremy Saulnier's thriller "Rebel Ridge" and Lee Daniels' possession flick "The Deliverance." This week's top dog on the kids' film front, "Shark Tale" debuted on Netflix on September 1, 2024 and has been in the...

Netflix released the first half of Emily in Paris‘ fourth season Aug. 15, and as a result got just over half of the tune-in for the show’s last full-season premiere.
The dramedy starring Lily Collins gathered 792 million minutes of viewing in the United States for its premiere week, according to Nielsen’s streaming ratings. That was good for third place among original series and ninth overall, but was also down 43 percent from the 1.39 billion minutes for the first week of season three’s release — which featured all 10 episodes of that installment, as opposed to five this time out.
The previous week’s top two shows, Prison Break and The Umbrella Academy, held their spots for the week of Aug. 12-18 — and their numbers were consistent as well. Prison Break actually ticked up a little to 1.61 billion minutes of viewing (versus 1.6 billion the week before), while The Umbrella Academy (1.39 billion) was...

Jc Chasez is shifting gears for his first album in 20 years: He’s releasing a musical theater concept album inspired by Mary Shelly’s 1818 novel Frankenstein. Made in collaboration with Golden Globe-winning songwriter and composer Jimmy Harry, Playing With Fire will be out just in time for Halloween on Oct. 25.
Chasez and Harry’s project is a reimagined take on the monster classic, inspired by a theatrical adaptation of the story penned by playwright, and Harry’s late mother, Barbara Field. The concept is a conversation between a dying Frankenstein and his creation,...

In its second week on Netflix, Prison Break rocketed to the top of Nielsen’s streaming rankings.
The former Fox series, which also streams on Hulu, was added to Netflix on July 29 and made its streaming chart debut that week. For the week of Aug. 5-11, it more than doubled the previous frame’s viewing time, rising from 758 million to 1.6 billion minutes. (Hulu, incidentally, is developing a new version of Prison Break with Mayans Mc showrunner Elgin James.)
Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy — whose final season premiered Aug. 8 — was the top original series for the week, coming in at 1.46 billion minutes of viewing. That’s a strong showing, but also down a good amount from the 2.45 billion minutes the show recorded the week of its season three premiere in June 2022.

“Twisters” (Universal) wasn’t the biggest film of the summer. But it is becoming the comeback kid among the group, both theatrically and at home.
The tornado-focused special effects disaster film just had a very rare weekend in theaters. In its seventh weekend, losing 200 screens, its gross increased 17 percent. That comes in its third week at home on PVOD. And right at the same time, “Twisters” returned to #1 at iTunes, edging out the second weekend of “Inside Out 2” (Disney), 2024’s biggest hit.
The Pixar film retains its top spot at Fandango, with the advantage that its $24.99 rental cost gives it with that site listing by revenue earned, not transactions like iTunes does. In any event, the split decision this week continues a now multi-month trend of no film placing #1 at both for two consecutive weeks.

In a bit of an odd turn of events, a largely forgotten sports drama has been climbing the charts on Netflix as of late. 2014's "23 Blast," which is based on the true story of a remarkable football player named Travis Freeman, has made its way into the Netflix top 10 movie charts, right alongside recent hits such as "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" and "Trolls Band Together." So, why now? How is it that this decade-old football movie is finding an audience on the world's largest streaming service when so many other movies are available for one to stream? It's a fascinating example of the unpredictable nature of the streaming world we now live in.
"23 Blast" is, as of this writing, sitting firmly in the 10th spot on Netflix's charts (via FlixPatrol). It centers on a high school football star who is suddenly stricken with irreversible total blindness. He...

The Olympics brought in very strong streaming numbers for Peacock during the first full week of the games. For other streamers? Not so much.
No original series or movie made the overall top 10 titles in Nielsen’s streaming rankings for the week of July 29-Aug. 4. That’s a first in the four-year history of the weekly rankings, according to the ratings service. Streaming levels outside of the Olympics “decreased significantly” during the week, Nielsen says.
House of the Dragon, however, continued its strong showing on Max (since the show also airs on HBO, Nielsen considers it an acquired series rather than an original). The Game of Thrones prequel topped the week leading up to its second season finale with 1.31 billion minutes of viewing, up from 1.04 billion a week earlier and its best mark of the season so far.
(Nielsen also adjusted viewing totals for HotD down slighlty for the weeks...

“Inside Out 2” (Disney), the biggest domestic movie since “Top Gun: Maverick” in 2022, finally arrived at home. Released in theaters June 10, it still ranked #10 at the box office last weekend — which is probably why it could debut with a $24.99 three-day rental and take first place at both iTunes (which ranks by transactions) and Fandango (ranking by revenue).
This week Netflix had three of its own original films among the top four, led by “The Union” starring Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry. The secret agent comedy-thriller is #1 for the second week, uncommon among Netflix Originals.
VOD charts also saw Neon’s low-budget sleeper success “Longlegs” place third at both sites. This came after six weeks of strong theatrical success, with $73 million so far.
Unusually, iTunes and Fandango shared the same top four films. “Twisters” (Universal), last week’s #1, is second at both, while “Despicable Me 4” (Universal) is fourth.

Most people who watched Peacock in the week of July 22-28 were watching the Olympics — but two other shows on the NBCUniversal streamer also had a pretty good week.
The swords-and-sandals drama Those About to Die moved into the top 10 original series for the week (it premiered on July 18), likely with an assist from heavy promotion during NBCUniversal’s Olympics telecasts. The series recorded 399 million minutes of viewing time for the week.
Love Island also stayed strong in the week after its July 21 season finale. Though it came down from two straight weeks above a billion minutes, the show’s 724 million minutes of viewing (including earlier seasons on Hulu and Netflix) is very strong for an unscripted series not showing any new episodes during the measured week.

Say what you will about big movies bypassing the theatrical experience, but this week's most-watched Netflix titles make one thing clear: star power still matters, even on streaming. Case in point: "The Union," a new Netflix Original movie starring Halle Berry and Mark Wahlberg that's been climbing the viewership charts since its release last week, according to streaming chart data site FlixPatrol.
Action rom-com "The Union" is currently beating away the rest of the competition on Netflix's top 10 most-watched list, which as of publication time is mostly made up of family films like "The Super Mario Bros. Movie," "Migration," and "Trolls Band Together." Kids who demand a dozen rewatches of their animated favorites clearly have nothing on grown-ups who have been itching to see Berry back in action for the first time in a few years, though.
Berry's only appeared in two other films since 2019's "John Wick: Chapter 3,...

Ever since Jimmy Kimmel turned down next year’s Oscars hosting gig because he wanted to “take a little break,” Hollywood has been buzzing with potential replacement ideas. Will the academy go back to a former emcee like Amy Schumer, Chris Rock, Hugh Jackman or Billy Crystal? Or will somebody new be given the reigns to the Academy Awards? Well, RuPaul Charles has decided to channel TV’s Deborah Vance by publicly tossing his own name into the ring. “I’m right here, bitch!” he proudly declared while subbing for a vacationing Jimmy Kimmel on a recent episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

For the sixth straight Monday, a new and different film is #1 on VOD at both iTunes and Fandango. “Twisters” (Universal), which grossed almost $10 million in theaters last weekend, is the latest summer hit to reach home viewing.
By design or accident, studios have spaced out their releases so every week brings a new top film. Since the VOD debut of “Civil War” back in late May-early June, no film has enjoyed more than a week as #1 on VOD.
As always, the timing for PVOD debuts don’t align with theatrical runs; “Twisters” and “Despicable Me 2” were released later than “Inside Out 2.” That’s no surprise — Universal is usually the quickest to go to PVOD; Disney tested the waters with streaming exclusives and same-day PVOD but now maintains the longest windows. “Inside Out 2” will hit PVOD after its 10th weekend, while it’s still in the theatrical top...

The Boys ascended to its highest mark ever in Nielsen’s streaming rankings for the week of its fourth season finale, and Netflix’s movie Hillbilly Elegy had a resurgence after Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance — whose memoir is the source material for the film — became the Republican nominee for vice president.
The Boys recorded 1.33 billion minutes of viewing time on Prime Video for the week of July 15-21, finishing first among all titles in Nielsen’s rankings for the first time (the season four finale debuted July 18). That’s the biggest viewing total for the series that Nielsen has ever recorded — slightly ahead of the 1.29 billion minutes it had the week of June 17-23.
Two other original series crossed the billion-minute mark for the week: Cobra Kai hit 1.09 billion minutes for the week of its final season premiere (the first of three parts) on Netflix, and Love Island had 1.05 billion across Hulu,...

“The Boys” achieved its best one-week viewership ever with the release of its Season 4 finale. Amazon Prime Video’s superhero satire reached 1.3 billion minutes watched during the July 15-21 viewing window, during which the finale was available for four days.
Along with beating its own personal best — and claiming the No. 1 spot on the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 for the first time — “The Boys” also enjoyed its eighth week at more than 1 billion minutes watched and its 20th week on the Top 10, which are both records for Amazon titles.
In the No. 2 position was “House of the Dragon,” which had its fifth consecutive week past the 1 billion mark, this time notching 1.1 billion minutes streamed. This is especially impressive given that the series airs on HBO’s linear channel, meaning that a chunk of its viewership isn’t accounted for on the chart. Nielsen notes that the series was most popular among...

Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder both managed audience boosts last week to reclaim their spots atop the Netflix streaming charts.
The Spongebob spinoff movie managed 13.4M views, making it the most-watched title of the week, while A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder churned out 8.4M views — up a million from the week prior and good enough for No. 1 in TV.
The film in second place was Ferdinand with 7.3M views.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 debuted in second place among TV, also with 8.4M views. The series returned for its final season on August 8 and, seeing as it is already rivaling the first place title, it’s likely that The Umbrella Academy will take the lead in the coming weeks.

The #1 movie of 2024 (“Inside Out 2”), as well as #3 (“Despicable Me 4”), and #7 (“Kung Fu Panda”) are animated features. The medium’s representations continue in streaming results, with Universal releasing “Despicable Me 4” on PVOD last week. An immediate #1 at both iTunes and Fandango, it remained at #5 in theaters last weekend. It added another $8 million for a $330 million totall as usual, marketing for home viewing might have boosted its box office.
And somehow, Sony’s 2017 “The Emoji Movie” is now a hit. It grossed $217 million worldwide amidst blistering reviews; it debuted on Netflix this weekend and jumped to #1. It reinforces the notion that animation is foolproof as long as it seems fresh.
It is one of four animated titles on Netflix’s list, which includes one Netflix original, as well as “Trolls Band Together” and “The Lorax” from Universal. However, the eight-month run of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” may be over.

With all of the choices that streaming provides to viewers, there’s a widespread belief that we’ve come to the end of the era of monoculture, where a mass TV audience watches the same program at the same time. “House of the Dragon” seems to buck this trend, as the HBO and Max series’ Season 2 finale perches the show atop the streaming chart once again.
Chasing the tail of the “Dragon” this week is a crop of theatrical releases and feature films. “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” swings into second this week after being added to Hulu on Aug. 2. The latest installment of the simian series hit movie theaters barely more than three months before it began its streaming run. It’s followed by “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” last week’s No. 2 and another 2024 theatrical release.

If you're not up for contributing to "Deadpool & Wolverine" absolutely obliterating the box office, you can always turn to streaming for your entertainment fix. Of course, as we all know by now, doing so is somewhat akin to wading into a dangerous and stagnant swamp from which you might never escape. Everyone has experienced the despair that comes with endlessly scrolling streaming catalogs wondering how, when everything is at our fingertips, there's nothing to watch. Well, now a real hero has arrived in the form of Bruce Willis.
Yes, the man himself may have retired from acting following his 2023 diagnosis of frontotemporal degeneration, but he remains a hero to us all, and is proving his remarkably enduring appeal once again. This time, he's doing just that by cutting through the murk of the Netflix swamp with 2010's "Red," an adaptation of Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner's comic book...

It appears to have been a bit of a slow week on Netflix, with the most-watched title racking up just 12.8 million views. That was Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie, ranking atop the English films list.
On the TV side of things, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder made its debut with 7.4M views, which was good enough to send the YA mystery series to No. 1 on the English TV chart.
Cobra Kai Season 6A seems to be losing steam, cutting its viewership by more than half this week, with just 4.1M views. Still, that put it in second place. Meanwhile, Simone Biles Rising had a good week, rising to No. 3 with 3.8M views, which is up just slightly from the week prior, likely aided by her stellar performance at the Paris Olympics.
Elsewhere in TV, Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam took fourth with 3.5M views, while Season 6 of Too Hot To Handle moved down to No. 6 with 2.7M views.
Netflix’s latest standup special, Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats, managed No. 7 with 2.5M views after its Saturday night debut. That’s a strong showing for the comedy special, which will likely rake in a larger audience this upcoming week, since only about 24 hours of viewership were accounted for during this measurement window.

Back to film, Find Me Falling dropped to No. 5 this week, down from the top spot the week prior, drawing just 5.6M views. Thats about a third of the audience it had in the previous interval. Kids animation appeared to be the strongest winner this week with three spots in the English film Top 10 — Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie at #2 (7M views), Trolls Band Together at #4 (5.9M views), and The Bad Guys at #8 (4.2M views).
Under Paris is still going strong on the non-English film list, claiming seventh place with 1.7M views. It has already made its way onto Netflix’s most popular list with more than 95M views since it debuted, but it has about a month left in its 91-day premiere window, meaning it could very well surpass Troll to be the streamer’s most-watched non-English language film of all time.
Also, the eighth and final season of teen crime drama Elite moved into the top spot on the Non-English TV List, clocking 3.9M views.
