F-16 Bundesluftwaffe (West German Air Force, 1979 - fictional -)
Fictional skin for the F-16, depicting a "what if" scenario, in which the Federal German Air Force (FGAF) decided to go the way other NATO partners went in the late 70s/early 80s to replace the their ageing F-104 Starfighters with F-16A Fighting Falcons (namely Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark & Norway).
The squadron chosen here is the the JaBoG36 (Fighter Bomber Squadron 36), which at the protracted timeline flew the F-4F Phantom II, but I like the squadron emblem very much. ;-)
Just imagine all their F-4s were transferred to a newly formed fighter squad (JG73 perhaps), similar to what happened in the RAF during that time, when the Jaguar entered service.
Hope you like it
