We had the privilege of attending a fantastic event: The Okta Customer Identity Dinner! Our colleague Martin Heere delivered an inspiring presentation on SurePay's journey and how our IBAN-Name Check and Verification of Payee solutions are revolutionising fraud prevention. Fraud is a growing concern globally, and at SurePay, we're committed to building trust in payments. Martin shared how we’ve partnered with Auth0 by Okta to seamlessly integrate customer identity and access management into our processes. This collaboration plays an important role in strengthening security, optimising customer experiences, and launching new approaches in the fight against fraud. Fraude in de zorgverzekeringswereld blijft een grote uitdaging. Recent onderzoek van KRO-NCRV’s Pointer laat zien dat slechts een fractie van de fraudemeldingen bij zorgverzekeraars leidt tot vervolging. Dit zet vraagtekens bij de aanpak: wordt er effectief genoeg gewerkt, of gaat waardevolle tijd en middelen verloren aan kleine gevallen? Juist kleine fraudegevallen en vergissingen efficiënter opsporen kan helpen om gerichter en sneller te werk te gaan. Door deze kleine zaken slim te automatiseren, creëren verzekeraars ruimte voor aandacht en onderzoek naar de grotere, georganiseerde fraudezaken. De IBAN-Naam Check van SurePay speelt hierin een belangrijke rol door te zorgen voor juiste uitbetalingen van claims en een administratie die op orde is. Of het nu gaat om het incasseren van een premie of het uitbetalen van een claim, zoals bij een zakelijke schadeverzekering, met de IBAN-Naam Check kunnen verzekeraars zeker zijn dat betalingen naar de juiste rekening gaan.
