"In the 1960s, medical students spent 400 hours a year in the dissecting room, now thirty to forty hours." 😨 This is a staggering statistic quoted by Lusanne Tehupuring, CEO of Enatom, in a recent Quote article. The company's anatomical education software was featured in the December edition and dove into the origins of the company and their educational software. 🎉 Did you know that the company wasn't always focused on anatomy? Enatom originally did 3D visualizations for brands like Red Bull and Louis Vuitton. But based on urging from UMC Groningen, Enatom applied its scanning technology to make 3D models of the human body. During COVID, Enatom turned out to be the only way to follow anatomy education. Enatom provides an unparalleled anatomy visualization of the human body that can be studied as naturally as in a real operating room. Users can zoom in on the human body in extreme detail with their laptop or mobile phone and can test their knowledge with quizzes. The solution introduces a new level of realism to digital anatomy and democratizes anatomical education, allowing medical students more access to a virtual dissecting room. Wow, what a few days for AirHub! The team was at FALEX in 📍 Portugal and organized two days of intense training for the Bombeiros (Portuguese fire department) 🔥🚒. At the conference, CEO and co-founder, Thomas Brinkman gave a presentation to a packed audience on AirHub's platform, showcasing its key benefits, including: 📋 Automation in flight planning and logging 📽 Live video streaming feature that enables teams to view real-time aerial footage right on their mobile devices But it's not enough to hear about AirHub's solution; it's better to experience it. That's why the team organized two intensive training days following the event. "One highlight was a hands-on Search and Rescue (SAR) mission simulation 🆘 along the Algarve coast 🌊. Participants were able to utilize AirHub’s platform, watch live drone feeds and collaborate more effectively than ever before," says Brinkman. "This experience truly underlined how cutting-edge drone technology, combined with robust mission planning and coordination tools, can significantly enhance emergency response capabilities 🚑 and situational awareness."
