What happens when you bring together the brightest tech minds from the Dutch SaaS ecosystem? Magic (and a lot of discussion 😉 ). For our first edition, we had the privilege of welcoming an amazing group of tech- and product- leaders from companies we personally admire a lot: • TOPdesk • Bynder • Channable • CM.com • Sana Commerce • Rentman From AI implementation strategies to tackling user adoption challenges, together we dove deep into what's shaping the future of tech and AI in 2025. Our discussions furthermore touched on: > How to discover the right use cases > Overcoming internal barriers, budgets and increasing priority on roadmaps > Critical considerations around some legal limitations and security > How to change the mindset and the way of thinking of your existing development- and product teams > The striking differences between the EU-US AI technology adoption and what this could mean for the future What stood out? The shared recognition that AI isn't just evolving – it's revolutionising entire industries at really an unprecedented pace and can't be compared in anyway with the rise of for example the cloud and/or mobile in the past. While everyone brought unique perspectives on navigating this transformation and is in different stages with their companies of driving value with AI, we all agreed that although some industries need to move faster than others, everyone will be impacted in some shape or form, sooner or later. Waiting with experimenting is simply not an option! As this technology is advancing at such rapid speed, we feel it's essential to have these debates. With Lleverage, we're therefore committed to continuing these executive roundtables throughout 2025, creating a space where industry leaders can connect, share and learn together. The AI stack for SaaS companies 🛠️ After spending countless hours testing different AI tools for our company, we've created an overview of the AI stack we found most valuable for SaaS companies + what we actually use ourselves (marked in purple 💜). For content and assistance (e.g. this post), we're heavy users of Anthropic's Claude. The output quality is consistently strong and it really gets our company (or personal) context. We prefer it over OpenAI in many cases. Fathom - AI Meeting Assistant has been a game-changer for our meeting notes - gone are the days of frantically typing during calls! It automatically adds them to your CRM too. For knowledge management, Notion with its AI features has helped us keep our documentation actually useful and up-to-date (a constant battle, as many of you know). For Coding, we've tried a bunch. We've settled (for now) on projects in Claude in combination with Supermaven. Can't tell you how many hours it's saved our dev team. Some still use github co-pilot, but the prevailing opinion is that Supermaven in VS code works better. We've got projects in Claude that understands our legals, which makes e.g. drafting an employee contract a 5-min job. And last but not least, of course we use Lleverage for everything else. Ranging from fueling our outbound messaging, company research to screening the candidates we get for jobs. What's fascinating is seeing how quickly this landscape is evolving. Tools we tested just 6 months ago feel outdated now. We know we've missed a ton... Would love to hear what's working for other SaaS companies - particularly around workflow automation. Still feel like we're just scratching the surface there.
