Amai Proteins completed the world’s first clinical trial on a sweet protein - showing that #sweelin does not affect blood glucose and blood insulin levels!

🚨 WORLD’S FIRST CLINICAL TRIAL ON SWEET PROTEIN: sweelin® does not spike blood glucose or insulin levels! We’re excited to share a major milestone in our journey towards transforming the future of sweeteners: Amai Proteins alongside Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center has successfully completed the first-ever double-blind, random controlled clinical trial evaluating sweelin®, our serendipity berry sweet protein. The results? An amount of sweelin® equivalent to the sweetness of 75 grams of sugar did not raise the blood glucose or insulin response. This is a proud moment for us as we continue our mission to provide sustainable, health-positive sweetening solutions to customers and consumers worldwide. sweelin® is leading the way in reducing sugar consumption without compromising on taste or health. The SupplySide West 2024 conference in Las Vegas last week was an inspiring gathering for innovation in nutrition and ingredients. While the range of new products and ideas on display was exciting, the most valuable part was the conversations and new partnerships we were able to build and strengthen during the trade show.
