We make our own North The heart and soul of the Northern Powerhouse is its people. Living, loving, mithering, we do it all with true grit and self-determination, but we don’t tend to make too much of a song and dance about our achievements. That’s where the Northern Housing Awards come in. We’ll do it for you. If you work in or with the housing sector, then we want to hear about your achievements; working to provide affordable homes and helping communities to thrive. We want to hear about the services you’ve devised that are changing lives. We want to hear about your innovations; solving problems and overcoming obstacles to build a better North. In short, we want to hear how you are making a difference for the people of our regions. We’re very demanding, we know, but these things matter -- and we want to shout about them from the rooftops. The Northern Housing Awards are here to celebrate and promote all the great things the Northern Powerhouse’s affordable housing providers and their supply chain partners are doing.
