HO HO HO Winter SIMELAND sprinkled some magic for this festive season with its own Mr and Mrs Santa, aka 🎅🏼 Miles Peacock and 🤶🏼 Kate Peacock. The festivities were wrapped up as a special gift shared by Natasa Lackovic who joined us to present her “Things and the Mind” project - a graphic novel co-created with students sharing stories of anxiety, body shaming and other challenges of student life. 💡 We learnt about 🎄 conceptualising student mental health and well-being as a sociomaterial experience 🎄 how do students visualise their experiences of well-being in graphic narratives scenarios 🎄What themes, things and narratives of well-being emerge from student stories 💥 We also reflected on how could the graphic novel be used in teaching to teach both curriculum goals and well-being literacy? We laughed and cried and shared our common #love for #education! Have a wonderful winter break and keep SIMING!

To bridge the gap between theory and practice, higher education must evolve. At the University of Bamberg, we’ve integrated Co-Creation into our courses—where students collaborate with industry experts and educators, working on real-world challenges. Through role-plays, teamwork, and hands-on problem-solving, students gain critical skills like conflict resolution, strategic thinking, and adaptability. This immersive learning not only equips them with technical knowledge but also boosts their employability by fostering leadership grounded in collaboration.
