SharePoint and OneDrive are playing a key part in the second wave of Copilot innovations. With Copilot Agents in SharePoint, users can quickly create and share agents from within SharePoint for specific purposes, with no coding skills required. Agents can work on your behalf, and act like a well-informed teammate. Copilot Agents are now in public preview in SharePoint. In addition, with Copilot in OneDrive, you can summarise and compare files in your OneDrive files faster than ever. These features are now generally available. Copilot Wave 2 allows you to make Copilot your own. Collaborate with others, make critical decisions, and spend less time on repetitive tasks so you can focus on creativity and meaningful work. At the Microsoft AI Tour in London this week, Microsoft explored the power of Copilot Agents. Agents are autonomous AI assistants designed to automate and execute business processes. Ranging in capabilities from simple, prompt-and-response agents, to agents that complete repetitive tasks, to more advanced, fully autonomous agents. Agents work for you in the background, powered by Copilot. With Copilot Studio, your business can create and publish Copilot Agents directly into Microsoft 365 Copilot. Agents draw data from SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or your business systems. With a new, lightweight Copilot Studio experience, users of any skill level can build Copilot Agents. You can then tell Copilot Studio what you want your Agent to do using natural language.
