INVESTOR UPDATE: Yesterday Sasha Wiggins, Chief Executive of Private Bank and Wealth Management, shared a deep dive update with investors on the progress the business is making and its priorities going forward. PBWM - identified as one of five key divisions during the Group investor update in February - have outlined ambitions to be: 1️⃣ Simpler - by putting in place a new organisational structure and creating capacity for investment. 2️⃣ Better - by strengthening our proposition across the UK continuum and International Private Bank. 3️⃣ More balanced - by growing our assets under management and growing current assets and liabilities while rebalancing income.

Colleagues from our Isle of Man office made their second visit this year to the Barroose area of the island, where they again helped plant saplings and repair the biodegradable tree ‘shelters’ which protect them. A team of nine generously volunteered their time across the course of two windy days, working with the Department for Environment, Food and Agriculture’s forestry team to bring the number of trees planted on the site to more than 1,000. A huge well done to all those who took part in this great effort! Pictured are John Ferguson, Bruce Parkinson, Crystell Moreno Oliva, Karolina De Gruchy, Paul Bray and Maritza Hernandez. Thanks also to Emma Mayhew and Neil Booth for taking part in this volunteering. #BarclaysIsleofMan #IsleofMan

CHARITY: A huge thank you to our Crown Dependencies colleagues who pulled together to fundraise more than £1,500 for BBC Children in Need. We’re proud of the efforts of the teams in Jersey and the Isle of Man who hosted raffles, dress-down days and bake sales in our offices and branches, and manned Children in Need merchandise stands in community locations to collect donations. In the Isle of Man, we were also delighted to be joined by Pudsey Bear, who accompanied our colleagues for visits to local primary schools to raise awareness of the charities and children’s projects BBC Children in Need supports. #IsleofMan #Jersey #BBCChildrenInNeed
