Founded by IT industry veterans, the CyberHub Trust has a proven track record in inspiring youth through digital skills programs in partnership with colleges, public safety agencies, and top tech brands. At Axon, we’re committed to giving back, and our team was excited to engage directly with students, sharing insights on careers in tech and public safety and give them a sneak peek of range skills training with our VR TASER Arena module. Yesterday I had the pleasure of engaging further education students at South Central Institute of Technology organised by The CyberHub Trust as we help promote the education and training of digital technology and cybersecurity. We gave an overview of what we do and the positive impact we have, our individual journeys to get there along with a taster session with our Taser 10 VR training. We were peppered with questions throughout the sessions and sat on the all-encompassing Q&A at the end with the trust and other participants. Attending in partnership were: Axon, National Crime Agency (NCA) , BAE Systems , IBM , Civil Aviation Authority, Metropolitan Police, Currys plc, CIS Security Limited and a number of others. Not only was it thoroughly enjoyable, I would like to think that we collectively inspired some students to think about their education and career path (and consider some of these wonderful organisations). #wearehiring #axon #makeadifference

I’m thrilled to be attending the 2024 National Black Police Association Conference hosted by Essex Police next week at the Radisson Blu Hotel, London Stansted Airport. This year’s theme, Policing Reform: The need for a service we can all be proud of, will spark essential conversations around the future of policing, diversity, and justice. Over the course of three days, I’ll be joining police officers, staff, community members, and world-class speakers to reflect on the past, celebrate current progress, and work together to shape a better future for policing.
