🎥 Behind the Scenes! Another SolShare system is up and running! Installed by Channel Electrical Systems on behalf of Wales & West Housing. This project is supporting the housing association's mission to decarbonise their housing stock. Making clean and affordable energy more accessible for everyone. Highlights: - Located in Rhymney, Wales. - Connecting 35 flats to solar PV. - Increasing the EPC rating of all those flats. - Zero resident engagement: Residents carried on with their daily lives as normal with no workmen required interrupting their day to day. Last month, our General Manager for Europe, Jack Taylor, joined a panel discussion at the London Build Expo. The session, titled "Transforming Tomorrow: Retrofitting for a Sustainable Future," brought together an exceptional group of industry leaders to discuss the critical challenges and opportunities in retrofitting. As highlighted during the discussion: "There has to be a continuation of policy to get people to retrofit. Retrofitting is not an easy thing to do, so there has to be that pressure, but there also has to be that money and help. There's not enough in the industry. Housing associations or whoever it happens to be. Those two things have to remain and have to progress to keep driving people to actually be able to achieve what we need to achieve." 🌞 Project Highlight – Our certified installer MawGreen has successfully completed the project at Secklow Gate in Milton Keynes! This project connects 42 flats directly to 60kWp of rooftop solar through our SolShare technology, installed by our certified installer, Greenlands LTD.
