They say that “great things never come from your comfort zone” and that we should “embrace uncertainty”. It is also important that we should celebrate our achievements - Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail has completed our journey to migrate to our new payroll platform. After 40+ years of our Legacy payroll system, we took the investment and challenge to move to our new Resourcelink payroll system.  Alongside our partners Zellis, we have completed the transformation. So we continue to “Build the New”, working together to continue our path towards improved payroll delivery. I want to thank our partners Zellis, Sean Murray and our dedicated team who over the last few years, have worked with colleagues in our business units to configure our new payroll system to position Iarnród Éireann for the future.  To the team of Suzanne Walsh, Niamh McHugh, Paul Boyle, Ela Piekara, Vanessa Quirke, Anne Edgehill, Richie Tormey, Ann Fraughen, Emma Savage & Alison Mooney plus many colleagues that have worked with us and contributed to our success; I thank you.

With the festive break now fast approaching it is a moment to reflect on an epic year for Zellis Group. First of all we were really excited to take on board a brilliant new company investor in Apax, who are really committed to investing to help the company grow, by supporting its customers and the management team. Shout out to Adam Garson ,our lead partner, for being such a great champion! In Zellis we won “The Treble”. Several Premier League clubs have won the Champions League, the Premier League and the FA cup. But no firm in our industry has ever won best payroll software from the CIPP, the Global Payroll Association (GPA) and The Rewards. All this in a year where we launched our new HCM Cloud AIR (AI in realtime) software with Clare Barclay of Microsoft. In Benefex we announced the imminent merger with Benify -two amazing companies coming together to make the combined clear global leader in benefits and people experiences software. We were also delighted to acquire the Vebnet business from Standard Life Adviser. We may not get a white Xmas but Benefex has had a blizzard of awards - Employee benefits provider of the year in 2024 at The Rewards, Benefits Innovation of the Year at the WSB awards and Total Rewards Solution Provider of the Year (Gold) at the Stevie awards. And if this wasn’t enough they also won Top25 Work Tech Vendors in the world at the Inspiring Workplaces Work Tech awards. And Benefex was again named as one of the best places to work by the Sunday Times. In Moorepay we have also had a brilliant year, with the strategy of providing an all-in-one solution of payroll software, really expert payroll services and a full HR suite of software really resonating with customers. 45% of new sales are now “all-in-one” - great to see customers voting with their feet for this! Thank you to all the amazing colleagues across our business for their hard work and commitment, thank you too to all our customers and partners for your support too. But guess what?
