About us

Everyone should have a fair chance to discover who they are and what they can become. YMCA East Surrey is a vibrant, local charity responding to the needs of individuals and communities since 1870, with a focus on those who are vulnerable or disadvantaged. We are part of the wider national and international YMCA Federation which supports the development of young people throughout the world. Our three core areas of work are Children & Young People, Health & Wellbeing, and Housing. Our services are inclusive for people of all ages and abilities, encouraging them to enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle within the local community. We help people to believe in themselves, support them to achieve their goals and inspire them to be the best they can be.
