Check out what we have in store for the #CadetsInEnterprise programme in 2025, from our CEO Ren Kapur MBE ⬇️
Cadets in Enterprise Academy Class of 2025 Begins Here! As we welcome 2025, we are filled with immense pride and excitement reflecting on the incredible journey of the X-Forces Enterprise Cadets in Enterprise programme. 2024 was a fantastic year for our Cadets, marked by growth, innovation, and stellar, impactful achievements. They tackled real-world business challenges, collaborated with industry leaders, and showcased their talents at the prestigious London Stock Exchange, the stunning venue for their graduation. Thank you LSEG! A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated volunteers, corporate partners, Cadet Forces, educational institutions, and supporters. Your commitment continues to transform curious minds into confident leaders, ready to embrace enterprise skills and advance their careers. Career development is the route to financial independence, and we believe it is vital to empower young people at the start of their journeys into the world of work, whether in employment, self-employment, the third sector, or perhaps even the public sector which includes our front-line services. Looking ahead to 2025, we are extending our reach by: - Expanding access to the programme – we are launching our first cohort in Woolwich this March and forging new partnerships to ensure every Cadet, regardless of geography, has the opportunity to participate. - Celebrating success stories – we are highlighting the achievements of our alumni to inspire current Cadets and demonstrate the tangible impact of the programme. We will host the material and lived experiences on our XFE Knowledge Exchange Hub to make it easier to cross fertilise information and create a ripple effect of success. Your continued support is not just great to have, it is crucial in ensuring that opportunities for young people are made available. Thank you to you all, especially LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) and NatWest for supporting the first two cohorts of 2025. If you are interested in being the third cohort partner, please do let us know. During 2025 we will have a regular newsletter for Cadets in Enterprise and if you would like to be on the mailing list or contribute, please email zoe@x-forces.com #CadetsInEnterprise #FutureLeaders #Innovation #2025Goals #CommunitySupport

Check out this brilliant TheVeteran.UK feature about our 3000th #StartUpLoans recipient through British Business Bank ⬇️
One of the surprising qualities (but obvious when you think about it) that Veterans seem to have in spades is a flair for entrepreneurship. The number of Veterans who set up their own businesses is really very impressive and it's good to know for those thinking about taking this step that there are organisations out there that can help. X-Forces Enterprise and the British Business Bank are two such companies and have recently clocked up over 3000 loans for Veteran founded businesses. Check out more how you can find out from this feature, written by our Editor Alan Spence in the latest edition of TheVeteran.UK. Today, our CEO and Founder Ren Kapur MBE, took her Declaration of a Freeman of the City of London in a ceremony with the The Worshipful Company of Glovers of London. Ren - we are all hugely proud of you!
Today has been a momentous occasion for me in the City of London. I’m deeply honoured to have taken my Declaration of a Freeman and participated in my Freedom Ceremony with the The Worshipful Company of Glovers of London. You might wonder, what’s that all about? Some may think it’s linked to driving sheep over London Bridge – and while that's a quirky part of the tradition, there's so much more to it! The Freedom of the City of London is a historic and prestigious honour. It’s the highest recognition the City can bestow, reserved for remarkable individuals and an enduring tradition. Reflecting on the roll of other Freemen such as Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Bill Gates, Dame Judy Dench, and Sir Tim Berners-Lee, alongside Honorary Freemen and icons like Florence Nightingale, Lord Kitchener, Jawaharlal Nehru, Nelson Mandela, and members of the Royal Family – who have all done or are doing great things in their communities - leaves me incredibly humbled. Being part of the Worshipful Company of Glovers of London is a personal passion. It reflects my commitment to the gloving trade, fashion, and sustainability. I’m already excited about exploring collaborations with other Worshipful Companies, including the Entrepreneurs, Leather, and healthcare merchandising sectors. For today, I’m pausing to truly take it all in - a day to celebrate this honour, feel grateful for the love and support around me, and reaffirm my dedication to giving back to the communities I serve. Here’s to tradition, progress, and honouring the past as we shape the future. #FreedomoftheCity #CityofLondon #GloversLivery #TraditionAndInnovation #Gratitude
