Rounding off our highlights from the #WomeninFootball 2024 diary, we reach December. We crammed a lot into the final month of 2024 including a very special event with Steph Houghton MBE, an insightful panel at the UCFB careers fair and another great session of our Small Business Programme with Xero.

In November last year we were super excited to sponsor the Promoting Inclusion Award at the Northwest Football Awards. Our Leadership Course in partnership with Barclays went to Brentford Football Club and we celebrated our 17th birthday 🎂 #WomeninFootball

To kick off October, we launched our Annual Report which included key findings from the previous year. During the middle of the month, our friends at Leaders in Sport invited a group of our members to their flagship event in London, which was made even better by our Chair Ebru Koksal, CFA winning the prestigious trailblazer award 🏆 The month was rounded off with the start of the new Small Business Programme powered by Xero! #WomeninFootball

Happy new year – we're wishing the entire #WomeninFootball community a prosperous and healthy 2025. We welcomed 2,201 new members during 2024, alongside 5 new corporate members! We can't wait to welcome more this year as we continue to grow and strengthen our voice in the industry.

In September we invited our members, partners and friends to the UK House of Lords to discuss gender equality with the wonderful Debbie Hewitt MBE. Meanwhile we worked on the inaugural Women on Board programme with the European Club Association (ECA) and a pair of #WomeninFootball members, Flora Snelson and Tyra Mills, travelled to Switzerland to launch the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 tournament with #GetOnside 🇨🇭

August’s highlights were plentiful as we celebrated South Asian Heritage Month with a special round table edition and inspired change with the Premier League and Fulham Football Club 💡 We also published the story of WIF with a wonderful dive into the archives from founding member Anna Kessel MBE. #WomeninFootball

Day 7 of our highlights in 2024 include a pair of Leadership Courses in partnership with Barclays, a fascinating webinar with Dr Calum Arthur on impostor syndrome and our first regional event with Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club’s Women’s Equality Network.   #WomeninFootball
