About us

Winning Tenders is an award-winning bid management company 📖🖊 We help ambitious businesses to win public sector and government contracts and have a win rate of over 90% on Government Framework tenders. We help our clients to find the perfect public sector and government contract opportunities for them to bid for. We write bids for them as and when they need us or, ideally, we manage their whole bid process, including helping them with their bid strategy and acting as their in-house bid department. We also offer unique online bid training workshops and face-to-face in house tailored training to help businesses win more bids. Our successful bid writing is the result of combining a client's subject matter expertise with our own bid management and writing expertise. We use highly skilled and experienced bid writers, who have knowledge of many specific sectors, to achieve this. We finely craft the bid so that it is fully compliant with the specification, is creative, sparks interest and excitement and, above all, is positively evaluated by the buyer. Our MD used to be a government buyer, setting up and evaluating large public sector tenders, so we have lot of inside information on exactly what the buyer is looking for, which is what makes us unique. If you need ongoing help with Bid Management, we will work with you on an ongoing basis to help you with every aspect of your bid process. The more we work with you, the more intelligence we build and so the more we perfect your bids and the more you win. Our staff are chosen not only for their bid writing skills, but also for their excellent customer service skills. Communication with our clients is a very important aspect of our business. We don't use 'public sector jargon' and keep our language simple and business-friendly. We are small and friendly and pride ourselves on being very approachable throughout the whole of the bid cycle.

    Are you starting to get a little nervous that your big, important tender might go live over the xmas period? 😱🎄 Here's some help: This is how you can get prepared in advance right now and spend less time writing and more time wrapping (and eating mince pies): 1. Ensure you meet all the eligibility criteria, such as certifications, licenses and qualifications and make sure you have the resources (staff, time, finances, and technical capability) to fulfil the contract. 2. Obtain the tender documents as early as possible and review them to understand the scope, requirements, evaluation criteria and deadlines. 3. Make a bidding timeline and break down the whole bid project into manageable tasks with deadlines. 4. Identify the internal team members responsible for writing, pricing, compliance, and submission and assign a project manager to oversee the tender process. 5. Get all the required documentation together in advance - put together a checklist of all documents needed and make sure they're up to date and meet the specifications (eg. company registration, financial statements, certifications, case studies, references).     🎄 Here's our top five of what NOT to do when bidding (🎁 a little gift from us to you to make the whole process of bidding over the Christmas period a little less painful): 🌟 If you have clarification questions to ask about the bid, ask them before the clarification deadline. Once the deadline passes, that’s it, no more opportunity to ask questions. 🌟 In your bid, don't just focus on the 'features' of what you are selling - you need to align the main BENEFITS of your offering to the buyer's key objectives and help them solve the problem that they are looking to solve. 🌟 Don’t just settle for the bare minimum in your bid. It will never win. If there are word limits, go as close to them as possible (the word limit represents the importance placed on the question). Expand on your answers, give detail, but don’t blag or repeat. 🌟 Once you've completed the bid, don't just check it over yourself. You should get it proofread and reviewed by someone who has not been involved in the preparation. A professional, fresh pair of eyes can spot costly mistakes and weak areas and see it from the viewpoint of the evaluator – definitely worthwhile! 🌟 FINALLY...Never submit your bid late as it will be immediately disqualified!
