Today is a special shout out and Thank You to Merrick Allard Whilst Penelope Allard FICB ACM PM.Dip is the face of WILD, a lot of work goes on behind the scenes on photography, video editing and graphic design. Filming in the water comes with it's own set of challenges. Penelope uses questions from clients each week to inspire her posts, but filming unscripted whilst swimming and dealing with wind and waves is not easy. Merrick has the task each week of editing this footage. 🌊 The horizon needs to be stabalised to prevent you from all getting sea sick! 🌊 The sound needs to be edited so that you can hear Penny over the noise of the wind 🌊 Graphics are added to show the temperature of the sea each week 🌊 Captions are created to make the videos accessible to all. So proud of the team here at WILD for being finalists in the Sole Practitioner category at the Accounting Excellence Awards #ae24, the biggest in the industry. We might not have brought home the trophy, but we got a huge cheer! Knowing that we are so highly regarded by our industry peers means a lot. Running a business is full of challenges. Penelope Allard FICB PM.Dip was attending an Accounting Retreat before heading to the awards and has come back to the office full of ideas and inspiration, determined to make WILD the best it can be. We can't wait to see what's in store. The future looks bright for both us and our clients.

It's been an exciting week this week welcoming our new team member, Faye to WILD Bookkeeping! Faye started her career in accountancy practice and moved to bookkeeping once she had her children, completing her ICB Level 2 & 3 qualifications along the way. When not at work, Faye enjoys socialising with friends and family and shopping!  She loves being by the sea and dreams of a beach front house one day. It's lovely having Faye on the team and it means we also have another office dog to add to the WILD Office well being team too! 🐕 🐕 🐕 . We'll have to get them all together for a beach walk one day.
