Whitespace is Recognised as a UK Government’s Approved Supplier on the G-Cloud 14 Framework. Whitespace has achieved “Approved Supplier” status from the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) for the newly launched G-Cloud 14 framework. This recognition means that public sector organisations can now easily access and procure our specialist Whitespace AI solutions through the UK government’s Digital Marketplace. Replacing its predecessor, G-Cloud 13, the G-Cloud 14 framework provides a streamlined, compliant pathway for public sector bodies to source cloud-based services. Originally launched in 2012, the G-Cloud framework was designed to simplify procurement processes for the UK government and other public sector organisations. Building on our commitment to the UK Police Industry Charter, which we proudly signed on the day of its launch in March this year, we recently teamed up with Accenture’s UK team. Combining our AI expertise with their deep knowledge of policing's digital transformation, we jointly developed several technology demonstrators for this week's INTERPOL General Assembly in Glasgow. Enhancing Field Operations with Real-Time Support In today’s fast-paced world, timely and accurate decision-making is essential for law enforcement. We developed two AI demonstrators on our Collective platform, addressing two key use cases identified by the Accenture team. One focused on crime reporting best practices at the point of data capture, while the other provided instant access to relevant UK legislation and policing regulations for officers in the field. “Embracing partnership and collaboration, facilitated by technology, is crucial for policing forces seeking to forge meaningful relationships with diverse communities and effectively tackle pressing challenges. By prioritising inclusive communication, sharing expertise, and leveraging digital tools, UK policing can foster innovative partnerships with partner agencies and harness emerging technologies to drive effective community engagement in the years ahead." - Collective Insights research report on UK policing by 2035 Crime Report Completion - “COPPER” Police officers can use the AI model on our Collective platform, available on mobile, laptop, or tablet, to streamline crime reporting. Focused on anti-social behaviour, the model guides officers in completing reports accurately, following College of Policing and Home Office guidelines, reducing administrative burden and ensuring efficient data capture. Instant Legal & Regulatory Guidance - “Pocket COP” Officers can quickly access UK legislation and policing regulations through the "Pocket COP" AI model. Our GenAI provides immediate, reliable answers based on official sources like the Home Office, College of Policing, and NPCC, ensuring accuracy and trust in the information. Private, Secure and Trusted AI Both demonstrators were designed to run on mobile, tablet, or PC devices and can operate offline if needed. Developed as Specialized Models, they use relevant documents and prompts to adapt general-purpose models like ChatGPT for specific support of UK/I police officers.
