This solid wood vintage plant stand has been hand painted and waxed. The fluted carved details have been highlighted with red dyed genuine silver leaf. Rainbows!🌈 The dyded genuine silver leaf I use for my candlesticks is such a beautiful finish. The colours are vibrant but not harsh and have a gorgeous soft sheen. And they all work so well together. It's a tricky material to work with being more brittle than imitation silver leaf but so worth it! These luxury, sustainable candlesticks have been handmade from reclaimed antique and vintage table legs. I love visiting exhibitions and events - they are great for getting inspiration, keeping up to date with the latest ideas and trends, networking with industry peers and catching up with old friends. Interior Design Trends/ 2024 Predictions Trends are always a hot topic in the design world – should you follow them, should you ignore them altogether? More and more, interior design is about individuality and your home being a reflection of you. However, the fact remains that we are all affected by what is and isn’t in fashion. Trends determine what you see in the media, online and in the shops. My personal view is that trends can be inspiring but you shouldn’t be ruled by them. As a designer it’s important for me to be aware of trends and I tend to embrace the ones I like and that fit with the Webb & Gray brand and forget the rest. I think it’s the same when considering the design of your home – by all means include pieces that are ‘on trend’ but don’t base your entire design on it. By definition trends come and go, much better to choose things you genuinely love – they will make you happy and stand the test of time. Which, if any, trends will you be embracing this year?
