As we wrap up another successful year at Way of Life, we'd like to take a moment to share our immense pride in our incredible team and the strides we've made together. Our recent annual general meeting was not just a formal gathering; it was a celebration of our hard work, dedication and collective commitment to excellence that defines us as a top-rated Build to Rent provider.   In an industry that constantly evolves, our team has consistently risen to the challenge, showcasing our capabilities in third-party management and setting the standard for best practices. It's this dedication that has allowed us to not only meet but exceed the expectations of our clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and support.   Our team brings passion and innovation to the table. Just over a year ago, we collaborated with students on Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London’s BA Ceramic Design course - one of only two single honours ceramics courses in the country - to deliver functional tableware for The Sessile in Tottenham Hale, taking inspiration from its interiors and the local area.   Over ten weeks, students shaped, fired and glazed their way through the brief, united under broad themes of belonging and place to create tableware and which ended in a celebration at The Sessile’s orangery opening earlier this year.   Course tutor, Emma Lacey, said: “Working with Way of Life gave our students the opportunity to explore these values in professional and commercial contexts, which will be vital in terms of experience.”   Our partnership with Central Saint Martins shows how we use thoughtful design to create meaningful spaces for our residents, engaging local communities to bring our properties to life.   Find out more here: https://lnkd.in/gSEpuk2f

We hosted our first resident event at Balfron Tower on Tuesday night, bringing residents together to enjoy food, drinks and conversation with neighbours.   Hosted in Balfron’s 24th floor private dining room and kitchen, the event was well attended by over 60 people, highlighting the importance of creating moments which unify our resident community.   We worked with a local business, Polentina London, to provide delicious food on the evening, set against a backdrop of East London’s skyline.   Find out more about the property here: https://lnkd.in/e-sQVggB  

Making people feel at home is our expertise. Last week, our Managing Director Sowgol Zarinchang took part in the second NHBC BTR Innovators event.   The event brought together developers, investors and influential figures within the sector to engage on the topic of ‘Innovation in Place Curation’. Topics explored include the value of community engagement, the current and future market outlook and case studies of what can be achieved through innovative thinking.   Here are some of Sowgol’s key takeaways from the event: 💡 Planning remains a barrier for building homes at speed. 💡 It is promising to see that the government is acknowledging BTR as a key part of the housing mix. 💡 Social values are of great importance in BTR and have lasting impact on buildings and their surroundings.   Thank you to Niki Kyriacou and Tim Reid from NHBC for putting the event together, as well as Sowgol’s fellow speakers Azzees Minott, Ben Giddens, Kathryn Pennington MRICS, Polly Simpson and Richard Valentine-Selsey.   #BTRInnovators #NHBC
