🤔 What does a festive day look like for Uptree’s Commercial Team? 🎁 Hint: It’s packed with collaboration, meaningful work, and good food! 🍰 Morning: ☕ 9am: We kick off the day by checking Slack and emails, mapping out our to-do lists for the day ahead. 💡 9:30am: Meetings to support each other on account management and event planning. ⏰ 10am: While the Social Committee finalise last-minute details for the office festivities, the rest of the team dive into emails and prepare for meetings! 🤝 10:30-1pm: Meetings with our fantastic employers to explore ways to help students access meaningful experiences of work. Afternoon: 🥪 1pm: Lunch break! A stroll around the London office, eyeing fancy spots near the Royal Exchange (and end up opting for a Tesco's Meal Deal). 🥮 1:30-4pm: More productive meetings, fuelled by cake and coffee from the office! 🎄 4-6pm: Uptree’s end-of-year festivities: Secret Santa, a festive Christmas walk, and a delicious team dinner - a perfect way to round off a collaborative day. With the working world becoming more flexible and remote, we love setting aside time to connect and collaborate in person. 💚 Not an Uptree employer? 🎄 This time of year is filled with so many reasons to celebrate! 👩💻 A recent highlight for us was hosting our first Women in STEM Virtual Insight Session with our longstanding partner, Arm. The session offered an incredible opportunity for students to: ➡️ Engage in hands-on micro:bit tasks. ➡️ Hear inspiring career journeys from female leaders in STEM. ➡️ Ask questions directly to a panel of female professionals. 🙌 A huge thank you to the amazing Team Arm volunteers, as well as Victoria Glew and Anna Malan, for making this event such a success.
