🚨New Job Alert 🚨 #UCO needs you 🫵🏻 Underwater Contracting Ltd (UCO) are hiring!!!! Due to further expansion we are requiring a new member to join our team, could you be just who we’re looking for? We are currently looking for a Workshop Technician to join our small, but busy, existing team of techs; to help maintain our fleet of HP pumps and to gain knowledge on both maintenance and operating use of our expanding fleet of ROV’s. Existing knowledge of ROV maintenance is not essential but preferred. The role would suit someone from a mechanical background but again this isn’t essential. Due to the location of the workshop any applicant must be based within commuting distance of Aberdeen City. Although the position is predominantly workshop based, you will need to be free to travel to visit equipment on-site as and when business determines. We currently maintain and operate equipment globally and as such you may be required to travel further afield at short notice or as required. The position is a Full Time, permanent role, there may be some flexibility in how it’s delivered for the right applicant. MD Michael Bower has come in today in his work gear so we thought we’d put him to good use taking stock and tagging up the latest ROV to enter our fleet and ready for hire! This is the 2nd Deep Trekker Inc. PIVOT we’ve taken ownership of and with 5 more brand new machines on order and in the pipeline as part of our collaboration with Deep Trekker Inc. we are looking forward to taking stock of these mini marvels and getting them out to sites already earmarked for deployment! Managing Directer Michael Bowers took this sweet snap yesterday and said…. “As I was walking through the workshop I stopped to photograph the ROV systems back from operations. These systems are either in for a service or heading out for mobilisation. When you take an ROV from UCO you don’t just hire the system that’s sat in front of you.
