Our new COVERBLOK - manhole/access chamber sealing system features a unique double seal system. There is a primary water seal and then a secondary neoprene seal which is both air and watertight. NEW COVERBLOK . . UNDERCOVER PROTECTION Launching Jan 25. The new COVERBLOK has been designed to be installed under both 675mm x 675mm and also 1250mm x 675mm - D400 clear opening access covers. This exciting new design has one or two new and special features . . The image below showcases the fully sealed system, which has a double sealed cover which meets the new standard : WIS 4-26-01 Issue 1 - Specification for leaktightness of covers for manholes and inspection chambers. Both models have the same concealed steel handles, which protect from potential damage that can be caused from spades and other tools, when cleaning out dirt from the void under the cover. There are two cover options: • Filter model with our unique SILTBLOK filter inserted into the cover plate. This allows filtered water to drop into the manhole and prevent the dirty water flushing straight over the retained dirt in the void and back onto the road. • Fully sealed model (no filter). This model meets the new WIS 4-26-01 standard for covers leaktightness(as shown in image) Both the location plate and cover are manufactured from robust HDPE, which has a design life of 60 years + . . so extremely sustainable. Turtle have made a significant investment into the tooling and the manufacturing process for the new COVERBLOK and this investment allows us to supply the COVERBLOK at a very competitive rate. Welcome to Steve Cockerline our new Business Manager. Steve joins the team to assist in the ongoing development of Turtle. Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from manufacturing, service provision and logistics industries. He will be spending the next few months getting to know our customers and our products as well as working with the Turtle team to develop and refine our internal operations.

November sees the launch of our newest ACCESSO inspection chamber. The new ACCESSO AIC600300300B chamber range features six, 600mm diameter chambers . . all designed with four connections to fit all UK 300mm twinwall systems. The main channel is supplied open, ready for use . . and the two side inlets are supplied blanked off, however they are easily trimmed off, if required. The range includes a base only and a further five chamber depth options, ranging from 1m to 3m. The Geoceptor’s unique bypass design is tested and proven to remove hydrocarbons from surface runoffs, preventing contamination of the surrounding environment. The Geoceptor design has been tested and proven to deliver a class 1 separation level, which is less than 5 ppm(parts per million) oil to water. Bypass separators are installed and used when it is considered an acceptable risk to not provide full treatment for very high flows, such as where the risk of a large spillage and heavy rainfall occurring at the same time is small There are four models in the GEOCEPTOR range, designed to treat the run off from drainage areas of up to 22,220m². Each model features a robust HDPE body with a patented vertical separation system, designed for rainfall intensities of up to 6.5mm per hour, offering a CLASS 1 discharge from all models.
