At TTS PRECISION ENGINEERING LTD we are always looking for the right solution, this might be on the edge of #workholding but if our customers requires a solution, we can provide the #engineering #expertise, years of experience and highly skilled staff to produce exactly what you need. We were tasked at looking at round components held between a 4th axis unit and supporting unit, the chuck side was a simple solution, but the centre was another matter. We have designed, manufactured and assembled this highly accurate bit of kit, to slide into the bore of the customers unit. The centre shaft takes a standard 4MT, in this case a high quality RÖHM Clamping live centre. The centre is actuated by a hex nut and fine thread, with a supporting locking collar at the front.
